When we adopted our dog, Oscar, we knew very little about canine nutrition. We picked up a bag of kibble, making sure to pay a little extra for the one with the fancy label. Over the first few months of her life, it became clear that she had no appetite for it. We cycled through brands and each time, she’d mostly ignore her bowl.
So we started to do our research and eventually began cooking for her. Suddenly, she was no longer “picky.” She actually looked forward to mealtime, so much so that she started waking us up for breakfast.
Good Boy was born because the dog food available in Hawai‘i didn’t fit our own high standards. We believe that dogs deserve wholesome, real food that’s ideally made locally with ingredients that come from here. And that’s what we offer.
